Trinity Horseshoe Pendant......CP-63
Sterling Silver Trinity Horseshoe Pendant       7/8" High

The trinity (often, triqueta) is a tripartate symbol composed of three interlocked vesica pisces, marking the intersection of three circles. An intriguing symbol. I’m constantly being asked about this captivating symbol made even more curious by the Charmed TV program. I have heard it referred to as Triad, Triquatra, Triquetra Triquestra. Scholars have put forward many theories as to the origin of this symbol. The thing we do know is that it’s found in many cultures in many countries. It’s a symbol that's revered in Pagan and Christian Cultures alike. Whatever you believe it to be is entirely up to you. The Trinity, Triquetra, symbol has been found on 5000 year old carvings in India, on eighth century carved stones in northern Europe. The Celts were legendary for their designs in this type of knot work and the Trinity knot is found throughout Ireland on headstones and monuments. In the Christian Traditions it refers to the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Sometimes it has a circle running through it which is said to represent never ending life or the circle of life meaning when life ends it begins again. Other meanings I have heard it referred to are Life, Death and Rebirth, the three forces of nature, Earth Air and Water. The triple Goddess in her roll as Maiden, Mother and Crone. Others refer to it as Fertility, Unity and Female. I am captivated by the symbol and have incorporated it into many of my pieces. There are thousands of websites dedicated to the symbol, feel free to visit them and take what you want from them knowing that whatever your beliefs weather it be Pagan, Christian or other, enjoy it and continue to be intrigued by it as I am.

Includes a sterling silver chain length of your choice or you may choose a heavier chain for an additional $20.00
