Large Sterling Silver Irish Penal Cross with Claddagh

Size: 1-¼" tall Weight: 10 grams

These narrow crosses are my interpretation of the Irish Persecution Cross or Penal Cross. During a time in Ireland when under British rule we were forbidden to practice our religion under penalty of death. A priest had to say mass in the fields or in the hills.
